Gentleman Valley (Fr)

This gorgeous-looking horse has the talent to match. He has enjoyed an excellent summer in the Provence Racing colours.

After finishing placed at Dieppe and Vittel, he has thrived since running at Clairefontaine. We were delighted with his frontrunning second in a €60,000 contest at the beautiful track on the north coast of France and he went one better on his next start in late August when an impressive winner of a €39,000 prize. His jumping has been excellent and he has really enjoyed himself this summer. He'll keep going while the ground is fast and we're looking forward to his next run at Lyon-Parilly on 16 September.

Gentleman Valley joined us last summer with an impressive record of five wins from 13 hurdles starts when trained in Britain by Ben Pauling. He’s a real character but he is really enjoying life at Avilly-Saint-Leonard. The relaxed nature of French racing seems to suit him and we’re excited to see how far he can go.
